STAFF REPORT LHR: The Technical and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) is the prime institute working for improvement of technical education in Punjab. TEVTA take cares of employment security of its pass outs as a placement cell has been constituted at TEVTA secretariat to arrange job opportunities for the graduates.


Chairman TEVTA, Irfan Qaiser said while talking to media, “TEVTA placement cell is the body responsible to arrange job opportunities for TEVTA graduates and foster the industrial linkages for better career prospects of the pass outs”.


“TEVTA is committed to prepare proficient human resource in technical domains through updated curricula that is in accord with the industrial demands that enhances the chances of employability of the graduates”, he further added.


According to the TEVTA sources more than 20,000 TEVTA graduates will be placed in the industry across the province of the Punjab at the end of this year. 1000 TEVTA pass out have already been provided job opportunities in Nestle Pakistan, Atlas Honda, Packages, Mughal Steel, Orient Electronics, Packages, Servis Industry, and various other national and multinational enterprises. The technical education is an important domain and Punjab government has done commendable initiatives; TEVTA is a shining example in this regard.
