Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) inaugurated 7th “E-Rozgar Center” at Government College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS) as in other parts of the province on the commands of Punjab Government.

Sajid Lateef, Director General, E-governance PITB, officially inaugurated E-Rozgar Center at varsity. Sajid said that PITB has selected 10, 000 candidates as per merit out of 33, 105 received applications from whole province for E-courses. He further said that from District Sialkot 344 candidates have been selected from as many as 650 applications for E-courses. He said that to get financial benefits Master’s degree holders could apply online under E-Rozgar Scheme according to their domiciles.

He also made knowledgeable that 40-E-Rozgar Centers will be set up in entire province intended to offer employments to youth. He further said that it was a revolutionary program to prevail over unemployment. Dr. Farhat Saleemi, Vice Chancellor, GCWUS said that E-Rozgar will bring revolutionary changes because 10 thousand employments opportunities would be created every year in the province.
