A six-member delegation of Pakistani companies led by US Commercial Service (USCS) to Solar Power International (SPI) held at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, Nevada.

SPI is largest solar show of North America. The show had more than 18,000 industry professionals and 600 manufacturers, service providers and vendors from all over the world said US Consulate in a statement.

SPI consist of education sessions, networking events and an extensive range of exhibitions. Pakistani companies had chance to get deeper understanding of solar power technologies and business scenarios. USCS offered the Pakistani delegation free of charge Expo registration, business-to-business matchmaking services with pre-screened U.S. suppliers, and free use of the International Business Center available entirely for international attendees and exhibitors.

USCS led 30 international delegations of the world among Pakistan.

U.S. Commercial Counselor Steve Knode said, “We know Pakistan has immense potential for growth in solar power. Our initiative to Solar Power International shows our interest and commitment to display best-in-class U.S. technologies to help Pakistan and realize its potential” highlighting the importance of exposition and value to Pakistan’s energy sector.
