Pakistan Innovation Foundation (PIF) launched National Innovation Awards 2017 Pakistan’s first and only National Award given for Innovation.

the only official or non-official recognition awards for innovators from a wide array of different sectors are termed as The National Medal of Innovation (or Qaumi Tamgha-i-Jiddat), claims PIF. United States, Malaysia, South Korea have also instituted National Medals of Science, Technology, and Innovation to recognize life-long achievement.

“America, Germany, Japan, Sweden, Korea, or China were not as advanced two centuries ago as they are now. This was either not an overnight transition. It is the aggregate energies of thousands of people and associations that made advanced monetary and mechanical powerhouses, and this is one of the basic difficulties confronting Pakistan in the 21st Century” PIF said in an announcement.

National Innovation Awards identify, recognize, and promote innovative and contextually relevant innovations (and innovators) across 12 general and 3 special categories, including corporate, education, health, industrial, agri, rural, government, civic, finance/fintech, social, development, a technology startup, university, and art, design. Young Innovative Talent, Audience Choice Innovator of the Year, and for Lifetime Achievement 3 special awards are reserved.
