STAFF REPORT IBD: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) Islamabad, Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences (LUAWMS), Uthal District Lasbela, has been signed at the PARC head office Islamabad.
As per this MoU, PARC and LUAWMS recognizing that mutual scientific and technical cooperation will advance the state of science and technology within the country and strengthen the scientific infrastructure and will bring benefits to both sides hereby agreed to cooperate.
Both the organizations will undertake to pursue a programme of scientific technical and academic collaboration for the exchange of ideas, skill and techniques on problems of national interest as agreed from time to time.
Initially the cooperation is likely to cover exchange and training of technical personnel and material with no cost for research and academic development; joint or coordinated scientific research and technological development programs in selected areas; holding of joint conferences, seminars, symposia, etc.
This cooperation will also cover coordinated or joint workshops at national and international level, access to knowledge, data, library and labs at the institution and establishment of the two parties; mutual sharing and exchange of scientific information, research material and internships and any other areas of cooperation upon which both parties may agree.
