STAFF REPORT LHR: Wateen Telecom, Pakistans leading converged communi- cations provider, has recently participated in the prestigious Digital Marketing Confer- ence 2012, held in Karachi. The conference was held under the auspices of the Pa- kistan Advertisers Society as a platform to bring together Pakistans marketing and ad- vertising communities on the subject of reinventing and reshaping marketing media. Theme of the moot was “Dig- ital Marketing: Today, To- morrow and Beyond” and was specially designed to keep an eye on present and future dig- ital marketing/social media trends, tools, techniques and approaches.
Naeem Zamindar, CEO Wateen Telecom, as a key- note speaker, spoke of the increasing importance and role of convergence in Paki- stans telecommunications technologies during his ad- dress on mobile marketing. He specifically talked about mobile content and measure- ment, and how brands can work together with telecom- munication companies such as Wateen to deliver content. Commenting on event, Zamindar said, “Wateen is proud to be a part of this visionary conference. Paki- stans IT and communica- tions industry has grown im- mensely in the past few years and we feel privileged to have been a facilitator in Pakistans communication sector.”
