AIOU endorse new admissions policy for its students

The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) adopts new admissions policy as approved by the Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zia-Ul-Qayyum to smooth the progress of 1.4 million students pursuing around the country.

Considering this, the university has decided to hold admissions for each semester in two phases to modernize the academic sessions efficiently. As per the new schedule, the admissions for different degrees start from different month to easily make available for diverse students.

Allama Iqbal Open University in the upcoming semester starting from July 15th offers Open Tech Course (OT) that includes the technician courses and Short-Term Educational Program (STEP) and other conventional degrees for its enthusiastic aspirants.

Furthermore, AIOU prospectus sale points will be set up at the University main campus, whereas, regional and coordinating offices throughout the country.

Special students facilitation center will be set up at the university’s 49 regional offices to guide and help the aspiring students. Keeping this initiative, the university will facilitate everyone to continue and start from the scratch the higher studies in order to flourish ahead.

Basically, the programs aimed at promoting diversity through different cooperative strategies and student interaction. The program and its context, analyses the existing differences and challenges and provides the results regarding the students’ perception of the program and their participation.
