STAFF REPORT ISB: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) and School of Chemical Sciences and Food Technology, University of Malaysia, have signed an agreement for developing their bilateral cooperation and academic interaction for the promotion of Chemistry, a science subject.

The MoU was aimed at promoting and strengthening links between the two universities for projection of their common goals in the subject.

“The agreement will serve as an important document to bring the two universities together for enriching their students about the latest development and knowledge of Chemistry, making the subject more valuable for the society,” said AIOU Registrar Prof. Dr. Nowshad Khan, Senior Professor Dr. Abdul Hafiz.

He appreciated the contribution of the Department of Chemistry, providing best academic services to the students.

Dr. Hafiz noted that the Department of Chemistry under the dynamic leadership of Prof. Dr. Nowshad Khan and the chairmanship of Dr. Naghmana Rashid has done a great job, offering Ph.D level courses in Chemistry.

Dr. Nowshad said that the agreement will upgrade their knowledge and will learn more to serve the society in best. He appreciated the role of Dr. Naghmana for the promotion of Chemistry. He said that it is due to her dedicated work, today the University offering M.Phil and Ph.D in Chemistry.
