Buckman &Engro’s digital strategic alliance

Buckman had a strategic alliance with Engro Corporation, by Engro Digital, to deliver progression and unwavering optimization to utilities and industries. The partnership will emphasize on developing apps on Predix, GE’s application development platform for Industrial Internet to meet the scale, complexity, speed, and security chucks of industry. Engro collaborated with GE Digital to influence Predix for developing Digital Industrial Solutions.
Najam Saeed, Head of Business Development, Energy and Infrastructure, Engro Corporation – Digital Business, and Junai Maharaj, CEO and President of Bulab Holdings Inc has signed the agreement, in the presence of senior executives at Buckman’s headquarter, 1256 North McLean Blvd. Memphis, Tennessee 38108-1241, U.S.A.
After the strategic alliance of Engro Corporation and GE, foundation of Engro Digital was laid in July 2016. The addition of Buckman to ecosystem partner complements prevailing alliance with reliable solutions for energy, water, environment, and asset management demands of utilities in industrial sector.
Jahangir Piracha, Senior Vice President of Engro Corporation, said that in 2015 Engro adopted GE’s Digital Power Plant solutions at the 220 MW EngroPowergenQadirpur Limited Power. The agreement is a clear demonstration of our conviction that Digital Industrial Solutions can enhance the Process Efficiency and Asset Reliability and help industries increase profitability.”
Engro and Buckman will now distribute digital solutions to help industrial plants at optimum performance for cost optimization, asset life extension, and energy and water conservation. The first digital solutions with multiple clients named for pre-launch implementations.
