Campaignistan holds Islamabad Science Festival
The first-ever Islamabad Science Festival (ISF) 2019 held on (April 27-28) organized by Campaignistan with the support of ICT to endow the young enthusiastic with an opportunity to show their incredible science demonstrations.
The science festival exhibits focused on critical issues of climate change, renewable energy and sustainable development, demonstrating that the adolescents are not only well-versed but actively pursuing ways to solve real-life problems.
Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Hamza Shafqat, visited each exhibit, saying that “The strong interest of students in science and technology and how eager they are to solve the real challenges are fascinating.”
Shafiq Ur Rehman, VP of IMCB highlights that the science festival was aimed at making science fun for kids. This is how science should be taught at school. Haseen Fatima stressed that “Science is one of those subjects that require our immediate and utmost attention yet somehow is overlooked by policymakers.”
