Hunan University of Chinese Traditional Medicine has decided to name its new research center following Pakistan’s noble scientist and eminent academician Prof Dr Atta-ur-Rahman.
The Chinese research center named as “Professor Atta-ur-Rahman One Belt One Road TCM Research Center” seeing this the Hunan University of Chinese Medicine intended to embrace a grand opening ceremony of its centre on 5th Annual Bio-TCM International Conference scheduled on October 23, 2019.
In recognition of Prof Rahman commendable services in science and technology sector the University of Malaysia, University Teknology Mara, has already established a research center in the name of Prof Atta-ur-Rahman entitled “Atta-ur-Rahman Institute of Natural Product Discovery (AuRins)”.
Pakistan’s famous scientist and academician Prof Atta-ur-Rahman is currently serving as Chairman of Prime Minister’s Task Force on Science and Technology, also served the nation as federal minister for science and technology.
The most decorated scientist of Pakistan Prof Atta has been awarded highest “Friendship Award of China” and four civil awards by the government of Pakistan.
Moreover, the Austrian government has honored him with its highest civil award “Grosse Goldene Ehrenzeischen am Bande”.
Keeping in view the part of pack, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry had also been invited as the guest of honor at this special occasion for Pakistan.
