Circle Women 'Tech Karo' come up with 50 graduates

Circle Women “Tech Karo” program successfully ended on 19th January at Karachi School of Business and Leadership (KSBL) successfully concludes with 50 tech graduates to pitch the corporate environment.

Tech Karo Chief Guest was British Deputy High Commissioner Elin Burns. Jahangir Paracha CEO Engro Vopak, Tahira Raza former President First Women Bank, Dr. Zahir Syed Vice Chancellor Usman Institute of Technology (UIT) and Dr. Shoaib Zaidi Professor and Head of Academics at UIT were also present at the graduation ceremony.

Tech Karo initiative is enthusiastic to women empowerment in technology through entrepreneurship, digital skills and innovative leadership.

The program candidates were given disclosure to different web development environments and trained coding alongside other professional skills that are required in the corporate environment nowadays. 

62% of the graduates were female that bring light to the event and around 30 graduates have been placed on internships with companies such as 10 Pearls and Ibex Global after receiving tech mentorship in the program.
