Lesser spells of rainfall, strong heat waves and drought in the country all because of graver effects of global warming that brings this rapid climate change.

Pakistan is facing worse effects of climate changes despite the fact production of greenhouse gases are relatively low. Dr. Moazzam Ali Khan, environmental scientist Professor said, ” Global contribution of greenhouse gases of Pakistan is 0.3% but still climate changes are awful in Pakistan. ”

He said while explaining the process of global warming and greenhouse effect that carbon dioxide (CO2) and other greenhouse accumulates and acts as a shield absorbing infrared radiation and stops their escape into space. This creates a net effect heating the atmosphere of Earth and is known as the term global warming or more precisely greenhouse effect. Answering a question from a media person he said, ” increase in minimum recorded temperatures is the results of adverse climate changes in the country”.
