STAFF REPORT ISB: The European Union organized a gathering in relation to celebrate Climate Change Diplomacy Day (CCDD) which is celebrated each year on June 17. The diplomats including Ambassadors of Germany and France were the focal persons behind idea of the event. The event aimed at organizing stakeholders at one forum to discuss global climate challenges and work in coordination with each other to minimize its adverse impacts that have rung panic alarms around the world.


Federal Minister for Climate Change, Senator Mushahidullah Khan said while speaking on the occasion, “The growing uncertain climate change implications is one of the most serious challenges that world is facing in this century, and it is imperative for countries to take joint efforts to conserve environment and prevent future generations from climate change threats.”


He also appreciated the efforts of diplomats for arranging such a crucial event that provided an opportunity to all stakeholders to unite and brainstorm for mutual cooperation to account for climate change snags.
