Climate ministry introduced policy draft for electric cars
Vehicular air pollution emissions are mounting day by day. To reduce this Ministry of Climate Change (MoCC) and oil marketing companies (OMCs) negotiate on automobile conversion from fuel cars to electric technology.
Under the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan a policy draft for introducing electric vehicles in Pakistan accomplished. Multiple stakeholders considered in the loop to fulfill the target.
The ultimate aim of ministry of climate change is to initiate conversion process from two wheels and three wheels transportation sources and after it focus on the four wheels transport.
Moreover, the target was to acquire the local manufacturing of electric cars along with home-grown potential for exporting this high-tech.
