Comsats initiated 1 billion Rs. project on AI

An association comprising six information and technology institutes in Pakistan was created in order to promote the initiative including the Comsats University of Islamabad,

The National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Lahore University of Engineering Technology (UET), Peshawar University of Engineering and Technology, and Punjab University (PU).

The objective of this high-tech initiative is to facilitate the learners associated to artificial intelligence, robotics, cyber safety, e-gaming, Big Data, and velocity coding through labs.

At first, nine laboratories were created through emergent technology ‘artificial intelligence’ in four areas, including Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, and Karachi.

It is pertinent to mention that the Comsats project begins next year and that processes have been ongoing to buy the machinery needed to build contemporary laboratories.

Such projects were also started owing to unique attempts undertaken by Dr. Rahil Qamar, Rector Comsats University in Islamabad.

This Comsats project should be supported by the government to make it a success. In addition, assistance for this project should be provided by the government to be launched in major city in Pakistan.
