CUI, IIU inked to establish Saudi-Pak Study Center

COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) and International Islamic University (IIU) aimed to establish a first ever Saudi-Pak study center and also Scientific International Chair at CUI.

CUI, IIU inked to establish  Saudi-Pak Study CenterRector CUI Prof. Dr. Raheel Qamar along with President IIU Prof. Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 15th May, 2019 to strengthen joint scientific and international cooperation.

The COMSATS and IIU Scientific International Chair aim is that it would serve the purpose of achieving security, peace, stability and sustainable development in both cordial countries of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The MoU surrounds various aspects of academic, research and scientific cooperation and is geared towards building a joint think tank to recommend both governments (Pakistan & Saudi Arabia) on policy issues arising in the China Pakistan Economic Corridor. As Saudi Arabia is the strategic partner of both China and Pakistan.
