Keeping in line, a session on the opportunities of pursuing higher studies in China held at National University of Science and Technology (NUST) school of Social Science and Humanities (S3H) arranged by the department of Mass Communication.

The ultimate aim was to educate eager students on the opportunities and prospects of pursuing higher studies in China and post-degree opportunities.
Syed Hasan Javed Ambassado (Retd), Director Chinese Study Centre (CSC), was chief guest. The panel for discussion also included Dr Muhammad Arif, PhD in Journalism from Hebei University of China and Dr Ashfaq Ahmad Shah, PhD from College of Humanities and Development Studies in China among other faculty members of the School.
Ms Joveria Hassan, a faculty member at Social Science and Humanities who is also pursuing her PhD from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (STJU) China, was the resource person for the session.
The 30-minute sermon entitled as “Outside the Classroom: What else to Expect from Chinese Universities.” The lecture was followed by a question and answer session, wherein the resource person gave comprehensive answers to the different queries raised by the students.
