STAFF REPORT ISB: Federal Minister of State for Education Balighur Rehman has said that efforts are underway to bring a uniform curriculum after consultation with the provinces.

In his address while distributing awards and cash prizes amongst the toppers of Federal Board of Intermediate Secondary Education in Islamabad recently, the minister said that the government will impart primary education to the teachers 100 religious seminaries across the country.

In this regard, he also said that Rs50 million have been allocated this year for the capacity building of teachers.

The minister further said that education budget has substantially been increased and we want to take it four percent of gross domestic product (GDP).
