STAFF REPORT RWP: Japanese Ambassador Hiroshi Inomata has hoped that future academic linkages and other pedagogic agreements between universities of both the countries will benefit faculty and students.

He said this during his recent visit to the Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU). His wife was accompanied him during the visit.

During his meeting with the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Samina Amin Qadir, matters of mutual interest were discussed.

The VC apprised him about the establishment, institutions, programmes, research initiatives and future plan of FJWU. She elaborated that university aims at nourishing the talents of its students through providing them better facilities regarding research and academia.

Hiroshi Inomata appreciated the efforts of university and its departments for professional development of its students. The ambassador also visited the state-of-the-art campus television studio (Vision of Women) and campus radio station.
