STAFF REPORT ISB: Ericsson has announced the opening of its Experience Centre in Islamabad with the aim to bring innovation closer to the region while contributing to the development of the Networked Society in the region.


This center inauguration was marked in a ceremony, attended by distinguished guests including PTA chairman Syed Ismail Shah, Member Telecom, IT Ministry Mudassar Hussain and Ambassador of Sweden Tomas Rosander and other ICT industry leaders in Pakistan.


“The region is steadily progressing towards our vision for a Networked Society, and the launch of our new Experience Center will assist in this process as we bring our global innovation even closer to our customers” said Victoria Strand, Head of Ericsson Gulf Council Countries and Pakistan. “The Experience Center will allow our customers to be an active part of our thought process, involving them to gain first hand understanding of our capabilities and the ways in which we can support them, and the regions ICT ecosystem, through innovation.”


Ericssons Experience Center is a platform for innovation – a globally connected hub to service the companys customers, regulators and key telecommunications industry influencers in Pakistan. Within the Center, Ericsson creates and develops experiences that support business discussions, strengthen relationships with current and future customers, and support ecosystem partners throughout the region.
