Galaxy Rice event held in Gujranwala Punjab organised by Corteva Agrisciences Pakistan along with Rafhan Maize Products, USA & Punjab Agriculture Department and of total 3000 farmers participated in the event.

It was concluded in the event by experts that Maize-Rice cropping pattern has great potential to explore and prospectus to increase farm income as compared to wheat rice cropping pattern.

It has potential to address major problems of wheat rice pattern viz diversification, sustainability, soil health, low yield of wheat crop after rice , impact of climate change .
