Google will introduce a pilot lot of tablets (4000 devices) that can capture 3-D images soon. The tablets will be equipped with 7-inch displays, two back cameras, infrared depth sensors and special software that can develop three-dimensional images of objects.


This Google tablet is being developed within the framework of Googles Advanced Technology and Projects group Project Tango. The smartphone was also developed in the context of Googles Project Tango. The target of this innovative high-end project is developing of gadgets which have an opportunity to provide users with 3-D maps of their surroundings.
