A week long “Training Workshop on Hydroponic Agriculture Technology” (Soilless Farming) has successfully concluded at Pir Mehr Ali Shah, Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR).

The 10th training workshop was organized by the Institute of Hydroponic Agriculture (IHA) with an aim to train the farmers on high-tech Hydroponic agriculture for the development of agri sector on contemporary lines.

This was 10th training session, in which over 35 participants including engineers, businessmen and progressive farmers got training on Hydroponic Technology including greenhouse structure, crop sowing, crop management and harvesting of the produces.

There’s a dire need to create awareness among the farming community at domestic levels and implementation of the technology across the country.

The farmers and engrossed segments of the community need to work together and play their role for raising awareness about this emergent technology so that the farming community could get maximum benefits and enhanced returns of their fabricate.

Hydroponic Technology would increase the production as well as incomes of farmer’s and ultimately leads the country towards development and for the achievement of economic goals through foreign earnings.

Farmers would put in all efforts for the expansion of this technology at national levels and for the development of the country.
