ICTP portraying potential options for scientific research


STAFF REPORT ISB: International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) has contributed over the last 50 years to fostering scientific research in developing countries throughout the world. The Centre is increasingly looking outward, planning to further expand its role in the opening of affiliated centres in different parts of the world, speakers said while addressing the sixth International Scientific Spring (ISS) festival held at the National Centre for Physics (NCP).

The five-day event was organised in collaboration with Abdus Salam Trieste, Italy. Prof. J Niemela of ICTP and Dr Hamid Saleem are the directors of the activity.

The ISS event provided a unique platform and excellent opportunity to discuss results of their theoretical and experimental research.
