“2017 Training Course on Hybrid Rice Technology in Pakistan” joint event was started in Pakistan and China to team up on awareness program for implementation of Hybrid Rice for productivity enhancement, profitability and extra surpluses for snowballing exports. Accordingly, Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) and China yuan Longping High-tech Agriculture Co., Ltd has also arranged a traveling Seminar, in all the four provinces Khyber Pukhtunkhawa, Punjab, Sindh, and Baluchistan. The Seminar aimed to develop understand of exact Hybrid Seed requirements of Pakistan for diverse regions and display Hybrid Rice varieties. A High-level Chine team have actively participated in Travelling Seminar. NARC, Islamabad has hosted the Closing Ceremony of “2017 Training Course on Hybrid Rice Technology in Pakistan”.

Sardar Sikandar Hayat Bosan, Federal Minister for NFS&R, Islamabad and the chief guest of the event said that the new rice varieties would help Pakistani farmers to expressively increase per acre yield and country will export more rice to other countries.
