STAFF REPORT KHI: The information technology and telecommunication sector have vibrant share in country`s sustainable economic growth and to flourish it by involving regional players into it was the main motive behind the organization of three day 15th ITCN Asia 2015 exhibition. The event was organized jointly by Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and E-commerce Gateway Pakistan. The purpose of the exhibition was to showcase the products of local and global key players in tech industry for promotion of a creation of healthy ecosystem and increasing trans-boundary collaboration between stakeholders for forthcoming ventures.
The inaugural session of the ITCN Asia was held in which dignitaries including Chairman PTA, Ismail Shah, and President Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan Dr Khursheed Nizam were present.
A series of high profile conferences focused on the telecommunication and information security; which brought together leading professionals to share their knowledge and experiences.
Chairman PTA said while addressing the inaugural ceremony, “Pakistan`s telecommunication and ICT infrastructure has grown remarkably over the past couple of years. This event provides opportunity to international companies as well as indigenous companies to showcase their products, engage with each other and provide best possible solution to consumers thus easing the life through technological advancement by offering better connectivity”.
More than 120 companies, 250 brands, 50 foreigners and 35,000 visitors graced the event.
