IT lab begun at KUST to engage youth in computing
IT lab begun at Kohat University of Science and Technology (Kust), inaugurated by State Minister for States and Frontier Regions Shehryar Afridi and vice-president of Chinese Huawei Company.
The endeavor of holding the IT lab is to engage the youth in healthy activities besides providing them opportunities to learn skills in emerging computing.
The vice-president Wing Zong shed light that they had trained eight instructors at their Lahore offices who would teach the students about information technology, especially networking and other associated subjects.
He highlights that the education expenses of first two batches would be bear by the company and in the meantime scholarships would be offered to the selected teachers and students for MS and PhD in higher studies.
Keeping in line, the objective of computer lab would bring into being able force which would help them in getting jobs easily. Applicable work is praiseworthy to achieve the targeted goal. to become a prosperous healthy nation.
Frontier Regions Shehryar Afridi said that China had made immense achievements in a short span of time through hard work.
