STAFF REPORT ISB: The faculty of Innovative Technologies in Education (ITE) of School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (SEECS), National University of Science and Technology (NUST) put forth an ICT based solution to catalyze the science learning of students. The project is called Chotay Sciencedan which was launched in a seminar held at SEECS-NUST.


Chotay Sciencedan is a science learning gaming app that entails vibrant graphics and engaging speaking characters that add value to learning and winning student attention.


Principal and Dean NUST-SEECS, Dr S.M Hassan Zaidi while speaking in inaugural session of the seminar stressed on the need of bringing the underprivileged fractions of society into mainstream education sphere to extract the talent from rural areas.


The chief guest Dr Muhammad Rafique Tahir, Director General Education, Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) hailed the project and assured full support of FDE during the entire course of implementation of the project.


Manzil-e-Maqsood, Assistant Professor ITE, gave a detailed presentation on various aspects of Chotay Sciencedan app and enumerated the success story it rendered in the pilot project.


The project team was awarded with shields and certificates as a token of appreciation and recognition at concluding session of the seminar.
