Jazz has successfully tested its VoLTE technology amalgamating with its partners Huawei and Nokia. According to the press statement, the VoLTE technology will soon be available to Jazz users., a press statement claimed.
Pakistan is the second largest market for this VEON subsidiary. Jazz merger with Warid took the Pakistani market by storm and now it is well set to shake the local market even further. The aftermath of the merger showed as many as 50 million subscribers of the company.
Khalid Shehzad, Chief Technology Officer – Jazz, said, “providing impeccable voice and data experience to Jazz customers is our continuous endeavor and we are humbled to become the first in Pakistan to conduct successful VoLTE trial using the latest technology. Once we move towards the commercial launch, VoLTE shall enable our valuable consumers to enjoy premium voice services with more than 80% reduction in call setup time, and on top of that it can cherish the true essence of a data session during call”.
