STAFF REPORT KHI: LEADERS (Leading Electronics Application and Design Researchers Setup) research group of Department of Electronics Mehran UET Jamshoro has recently organized 3-week internship programme in the fields of Digital Electronics, Micro Processors and Microcontrollers, Digital Signal processing (DSP), Field programmable Gate Array (FPGA) and Control Engineering and Robotics and Problem/project Based learning.
On the occasion, Engr Attiya Baqai, the Internship Programme Coordinator briefed the audience about the aims and objectives of the internship.
The internship was supervised by LEADERS team coordinators Engr Attiya Baqai, Engr Khuhed Memon,Engr Azam Rafiq Memon, Engr Mehnazer Syed, Engr Mansoor , Engr Shoaib Khaskheli and Dr Imtaiz Kalwar.
As many as 300 applications were received for this internship out of which 131 internees were registered and 83 students were declared to be successful candidates after a tough evaluation based upon attendance and performance.
After the briefing, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Abdul Qadeer Rajput highly appreciated the efforts of the LEADERS team and Prof Dr BS Chowdhry for organizing such a mega internship programme.
Prof. Dr BS Chowdhry, Dean FEECE, elaborated the needs of such trainings and internships for the students, which are very useful in their practical life. He always takes interest and encourages students and his faculty to take part and organize such events; he fully supported the LEADERS team in every possible aspect wherever needed.
