particlesLife is only the consequence of complexity of particles.  Worth thinking about the origin of humans specially and all life generally. We are bound to a system having more than 100 elements, from Hydrogen which is lightest to Ununoctinum  which is heaviest, and our bodies are made up of many of these. Life starts from complex molecules which are actually complex arrangement of atoms. For instance our DNA molecule which contains all the information about the body is made up of more than 200 billion atoms! Thats only an estimate. Each atom is made up of electrons and nucleus and nucleus is made up of protons and neutrons.

Hence we can infer that we are made up of electrons, protons and neutrons. Further advancement in physics in recent past have shown that even protons and neutrons can be broken down and are made up of even smaller particles. Cutting the details of complex mathematics and physics, here is a table of elementary particles.

Each larger particle is made up of smaller particles and there are those particles which are responsible for the interactions between particles. For instance protons and neutrons are made up of Quarks and electron itself is elementary particle which cannot be broken. Force of attraction between nucleus and electrons is due to exchange of “photons”.

Hence it is evident that everything in the universe is made up of these elementary particles including humans, all living beings and all non-living things. Then there must be some definite line of distinction between living and non-living as they are all made up of same kind of particles. It is amazing to see all elements which are further made up of tiny sub atomic particles are non-living but when placed in a particular sequence (DNA molecule) they begin showing properties of living things.

We have come to the conclusion that either life is not a consequence of mere particular arrangement of atoms and is due to some unseen force or we should admit all the elements are living objects.

Regarding the first assumption we have clues in religion. I am talking about “spirit” we all have. If we accept this logic and try to merge it into observation, we may succeed. Its again according to logic that just by specific arrangement of atoms cannot give life and situation demands of an unseen object in control of these elements to show them as living.

Or if we are going to negate this concept of spirit then we need serious search of the fact that why only a particular arrangement of elements make the structure living. If well be able to answer this question sometime in future then we will be able to make living computers, cars, air planes and everything else. Just arrange atoms in a specific manner and youll get living car! It will talk with you, it will eat food, it will have metabolism! Amazing isnt it.

On the other hand if life is only a consequence of spirit and not the particular arrangement of elements and spirit can only be sent by God, then we cannot make living things ourselves and definition of life will alter significantly.

And third possibility is also there. May be this special arrangement of elements somehow brings the spirit from some superficial dimension and make the object living. If this is the case then we can again make living things but definition of space, time and dimensions will alter significantly. In this regard, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is the world’s largest and highest-energy particle accelerator. It is expected to address some of the most fundamental questions of physics, advancing the understanding of the deepest laws of nature.

All researches are very much sure that knowledge of physics is by no means over or even near completion. We are finding new things with each passing moment. I believe that basics of physics need modification. There must be some unseen world which is playing its vital role in our visible and so called physical universe. Only after the acceptance of this we will be able to explain the phenomena which our current rules of physics cannot explain and appears stop working.

This unseen world must be helping our world and might be integrated with it. Its only matter of time that this will be discovered or some other strong explanation should arise.
