LUMS alumni develop suncart – a grocery shopping
LUMS graduate, Khawaja Jaffer developed Suncart, an online shopping platform in Qatar that brings groceries to your doorstep aimed to make the grocery process hassle free.
Khawaja Jaffer, CEO of Suncart, highlights about the outlook of grocery shopping. Jafer added that, no more waiting in line and no more going out for groceries.
Suncart is the most creative, unique, and impactful startup through Qatar Foundation’s Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP). It’s a delivery platform that allows users to order groceries online for delivery right to their door.
Retailers can feature their items on the app and use Suncart’s transportation network to carry out deliveries. Suncart app features over 8,000 grocery items including fresh fruits, vegetables, household, personal care, baking and cooking, baby, pet care and many more other items.
Buying groceries on your own is a time-consuming effort because you have to pick fresh and good quality vegetables. Home delivery of groceries by online apps is a good option for me as it saves my time and efforts
