Micropower Labs shines at Digital Winners competition Asia
Telenor Group’s annual Digital Winners competition has been won by Micropower Labs of Telenor Pakistan’s Velocity’s Pakistan. Focusing on hardware development, with fastest charging5000mAH power bank of world itself charges in just 15 minutes. To explore market expansion to some of Telenor Group’s other markets in Asia Micropower Labs have received 100,000 Norwegian Kroners.

Local start-ups have been connected with international players in Asia’s technology and innovation ecosystems under Telenor Group’s Digital Winners programme, including investors, fellow start-ups, and corporate partners. The program is designed for regional expansion and new market launches, together with team capacity building and business in specific markets. Telenor Velocity sent its 2 start-ups to Digital Winners Asia in Singapore that is Micropower Labs and Artsy.

Micropower Labs have planned for a Flashpack Pro 12000mAH for larger devices and develop power packs for the entire spectrum of devices from smartphones to PCs. “CityOS” is also under development that is a new kiosk-centered creativity to help people with both power and city-related mobility services. It collects environmental data from users and employs blockchain technology for future sources of income.
Soomro added, “A lot of exciting prototypes in development.” Solar-powered wearable cooling device is one of those. Micropower Labs has brought products closer to people by integrating human-centered designs into product development cycles, while not ignoring acute social needs that their technology and hardware systems can solve.
