Microsoft GM sees potential in IT sector


STAFF REPORT KHI: Microsoft General Manager of North Africa, East-Mediterranean and Pakistan Region, Leila Serhan, has said that there is huge potential in the Information Technology (IT) sector in Pakistan and hoped that this sector would grow dramatically in just two to three years.

Leila, while talking to media in Islamabad, said that the Microsoft is bringing a strategy of mobile first, cloud first to Pakistan and “we see tremendous opportunities for individuals, businesses, and developers to embrace cloud computing.”She has recently visited Pakistan to review the potential and ongoing Microsoft projects in the country.
