Microsoft and Higher education Commission (HEC) are collaborating to organize the world’s most esteemed student technology competition “Microsoft’s Imagine Cup 2019” bringing jointly student and innovators from across the globe.
HEC told that this will be an astonishing opportunity for the youth of Pakistan to take part and exploit their potential by bringing their imagination and their passion towards creating technological solutions and try to win immense prizes.
Microsoft all along with the HEC is determined for fostering innovation and transforming technology among the youth of Pakistan. This platform will help students of Pakistan in acknowledgment of their innovative ideas and relative projects.
Students with Technology Projects will be registered at www.imaginecup.com/pakistan for a possibility to compete in the Regional Finals which are planned to execute in Feb 2019.
The submissions are open till Jan 15, 2019 and any student from HEC recognized university can go and register alone, register a team and upload their project: there are no restrictions on the technology used in the software itself.
Over the past 17 years, nearly two million students from around the world have competed for cash, prizes, travel, and the chance to connect with industry leaders and mentors. The students can watch the 2018 world championship to learn more about last year’s Imagine Cup winners and get inspired to create their own project.
The students will gain a deeper understanding of trending tech including machine learning, deep learning, big data processing, mobile apps, and more and build something that matters and share their world-changing ideas with their peers and technology industry leaders on a global stage.
Top teams will be selected to travel across the globe to pitch their projects, compliments of Microsoft and the best project will win $100,000 USD.
