Ministry of Science and Technology carry out the task of restructuring its organizations through a sky-scraping committee comprise for the purpose to make these departments more vibrant, productive and economically feasible.

A committee has also been formed in the ministry with members of Universities and Planning Commission to suggest the way forward by restructuring these organizations.

Ministry of Science and Technology for the first time in the history of the country has decided to establish five to six state-of-the-art Science and Technology Parks across the country.

One of these Science and Technology Parks is almost complete with the efforts of Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) in Lahore.

While work on the next such park in National University of Science and Technology (NUST) is on cards and completed during the next sixth months.

Flowing out of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) initiatives, the ministry has planned to establish a state-of-the-art Technical Center of PCSIR at Gwadar to train and provide the skilled manpower as China Pakistan Economic Corridor per requirements.

The ministry has also planned to establish National Science School at Mianwali for which land, boundary wall and building plans will be processed during the next six months.

The Ministry of Science and Technology  is also in process of finalizing ground regarding establishing state-of-the-art testing facility for solar panels namely Pak-Korea Testing facility through funding of 8.03 million US Dollars under Korea grant.

Science and Technology departments needs improvement to flourish ahead by establishing more and more Science and Technology parks to carry out the talented and skilled youth for the future outcome universally.
