Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry said that “the government is introducing a mobile payment system, which would end the irritation of giving the computerized national identity card (CNICs) during shopping.

Fawad Chaudhry speaking at Signing ceremony said “Your mobile phone will act as your identity card in future in Pakistan”. science is still not taken seriously and it takes effort to explain science-based ideas to people.
He further said that “Developed countries are lucky that they have advanced issues to take care for Pakistan. We have to deal with people like Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Khadim Hussain Rizvi every Friday”.
Fawad also said that use of technology can determine the success of any business in this era but up till now we have to understand this in Pakistan.
He also announced that a state-of-the-art Bio Science Park will be made in Jhelum.
The minister greeted emerging Japanese technology in the fields of oil and gas as well and reminded that in past we all heard only about Japanese technology everywhere in the country.
He gave example of Philips which is a big name in technology, its contribution in developing and manufacturing lights in Pakistan is a source of the benefit of the country.
