Monsoon plantation campaign launched at the Centre of Excellence in Art and Design (CEAD), Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) Jamshoro in collaboration with district forest office Hyderabad.

The conservator of Forests had been directed to plant maximum saplings with the help and cooperation of the civil society, officials and students. Concerning this, the Director CEAD Prof. Dr. Bhai Khan Shar inaugurated the monsoon plantation campaign by planting a tree to make the monsoon drive a success.

Keeping in line the effective awareness campaigns, the development of planting saplings had increased considerably and the citizens had started playing their due role.

During the monsoon plantation campaign a wide-ranging plan of massive tree plantation had been evolved to bring maximum area under forest cover which was basic necessity to triumph over the environmental degradation and enjoins the eco-friendly society.

Seeing that the conservator of Forests Hyderabad Muhammad Zafar Wasan, Senior Journalist Naz Sahito, District Forest Officer Jamshoro Mukhtiar Ahmed Mallah, Deputy Director NAVTTC Azizullah Chandio.

Moreover, Professor Atta Bullo, Prof. Ijaz Hussain, Prof. Shoukat Ali Khokhar, Prof. Jawed Hussain Makhdoom, Prof. Fazal Ellahi, Social Activist Abdullah Kohistani, Incharge Horticulture Muhammad Yousif Soomro and others took part in the CEAD plantation ceremony.
