Pakistan’s first ever moon sighting mobile application “The Ruet” is available on the Google Play store for download to follow the Islamic traditions with high-technology.

Pakistan’s moon-sighting app “The Ruet” is availableMinistry of Science and Technology kicked off the moon-sighting website and mobile application for the community to follow the Islamic customs without any hassle.

Minister of Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry tweets that “The app displays the various phases of, and other real-time information about, the moon.”

The mobile application comprised of following features as provided on Google Play Store;

The main menu are current phase and moon age according to Islamic months, Islamic hijri calendar, moon phases calendar, major planets positions on the interactive sky simulation. Moreover, can set the location manually to any coordinates in Pakistan.
