STAFF REPORT ISB: National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), foremost biometric agency of Pakistan has won e-passport software contract in Kenya.


The project scope includes biometric data capturing, verification, and validation through the use of Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) technology and printing and personalization of e-passport booklets. The system will be developed by NADRA which has extensive experience in this regard. The projected cost of the project is $3 million.


Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan has hailed the achievement of NADRA and said that it will be a leap forward in terms of strengthening the bilateral relation with Kenya and recognition of competency of NADRA at international level.
