STAFF REPORT IBD: The National Academy of Young Scientists (NAYS), being a pioneer academy of young scientists in Pakistan, is going to lay the foundation of celebrating Muslim Scientists Day, on March 10, to pay homage to Muslim scientists for their prestigious services for science.
It is a contribution by young scientists to our renowned Muslim scientists in recognition of their efforts in all fields of science which cannot be overlooked. Posters and banners will be displayed in all the major universities and institutes of Pakistan on this special day.
The NAYS ha planned to organize an essay and poster competitions on the topic “The Legendary Muslim Scientists.” in collaboration with the Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) on Muslim Scientists Day 2012.
According to the rules, the essay should be in English language with a maximum of 1500 words. Similarly, for the poster competition, the poster should be in English language and the poster should be 36″ wide x 48″ long. These posters should be sent through email www.nays.com.pk
Plagiarism is strictly prohibited and shall lead to disqualification. Try to cover all the major contributions by the selected Muslim scientist, said an official of the NAYS.
