STAFF REPORT LHR: Oaks CAF Pakistan Korean Company and University of Agriculture Faisalabad have agreed to collaborate in soybean, dairy value chain, value addition and other areas of agriculture to get the benefit from each others experiences.


It was discussed at a meeting of Korean team led by Mrs Seo from Jung Oak and Lee JaeHo from Pakistan Korean Company with UAF agricultural scientists at ORIC office.


Seo said that the collaboration will open up new horizon to get benefit from each other experiences. She said that Pakistan is enriched in its culture and blessed with good cropping system.


She said that education and rural development are essential to get achieve the progress goal.


UAF Office of Research Innovation and Commercialisation Director Dr Asif Ali said that the joint venture will help the country promote the value addition, dairy value chain and other areas of agriculture.


He said that the UAF was making all out effort to enhance the agricultural productivity in the form of trained manpower, research and commercialisation of innovative products and ideas.


Faculty of Food Science Dean Professor Dr Masood Sadiq Butt said that promotion of value addition in food sector will fetch heavy foreign exchange.
