Pak-Turk Researchers Mobility grant 13 joint projects

Pakistan Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Turkey Council of Higher Education (CoHE) determined to grant 13 joint research projects under the second phase of the Pak-Turk Researchers Mobility Programme.

Pak-Turk Mobility Grant Programme is one of the consequences of cooperation to provide mobility support to researchers in higher studies.

Under this programme, new scientific and technological cooperation between Turkish and Pakistani institutions will be developed by supporting the mobility of graduate students and academic staff.

About 70 applications had been received in the given programme. Of these, 33 met the eligibility criteria. After the assessment, only 13 applications were selected for the mobility grant project.

The researchers will be involved in six priority areas including energy, food, sustainable environment technologies, material sciences, smart transportation systems, and robots and smart systems.

The successful researchers belong to Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS); UoP-Lahore; Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences, Quetta;

Government College University, Faisalabad; UET-Peshawar; UET-Lahore; Lahore College for Women University; University of Peshawar; University of Sargodha; UOP-Faisalabad; COMSATS University, Islamabad (CUI); and Islamia College University, Peshawar.
