Pakistani students build an eye controller device
Talented Pakistani students once again developed high-tech to make people life easy. A team from Bahria University Karachi builds a device that moves cars through a person’s eye movement.
To detect the eye movement in real time students used cutting edge programming language ‘Python’ that lets work quickly and integrate the systems more effectively.
Moreover, they also designed a prototype car for Rs. 3,000 to test it out as a part of their final year project (FYP).
The device’s automation system uses a blink sensor to detect eye blinking in real-time. It can also be used for home automation, for moving a cursor on your computer or moving a wheelchair.
The students believe that this system can is a mammoth step forward in facilitating disable individuals. For example, this device can be used by people with tetraplegia to live their lives without assistance.
The aspirant students have requested the government of Pakistan to help them participate in an automation contest to be held in Thailand to make this year’s lead.
If the government aids such talented students, it gives a huge sense of accomplishment as a Pakistani to be featured on the biggest national and international challenge of a tech industry in Pakistan.https://www.technologytimes.pk/pakistani-students-build-eye-controller-device/https://www.technologytimes.pk/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Pakistani-students-build-an-eye-controller-device.jpghttps://www.technologytimes.pk/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Pakistani-students-build-an-eye-controller-device-150x69.jpgArticlesstudentsTalented Pakistani students once again developed high-tech to make people life easy.
