Pakistan holds the annual capacity to generate 2.324 million megawatts (MW) of through solar energy and Photovoltaic (PV) system.
Pakistan id ideal because of geographic location to produce solar-based energy than Germany, Spain, and China including India.
Pakistan has a capacity to generate 1,920 kilowatts per meter squared per hour (kWh/m2) electricity from sunlight. Pakistan can generate 1/3rd electricity through solar energy that is more than Germany Munawar Hasan a researcher said in his report.
He further explained solar energy can not only combat shortfall of powers but have a comparatively low tariff to ensure economic progress of the country.
