Senate Standing Committee on Science and Technology has directed to check water of all filtration plants installed in Islamabad Capital City to Pakistan Council for Research and Water Resources (PCRWR) on monthly basis to ensure safe drinking water to inhabitants. Chairman PCRWR briefed the committee that they have quality of 15 plants was found safe out of water samples of 22 filtration plants of the capital while 7 plants were unsafe for human consumption. Senator Osama Saifullah Khan chaired the committee.
