STAFF REPORT IBD: The Pakistan Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) Laboratories Complex, Peshawar, has recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Directorate of Science and Technology (DST) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for collaborative activities to promote technologies and research products in the country.
The ceremony among others was also attended by Chairman PCSIR Islamabad, Dr Shoukat Pervaiz; Director General PCSIR, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engr Liaqat Ali and Secretary Science and Technology, Muhammad Humayun.
“The aim and objective of this initiative is to sponsor technologies and research products of PCSIR which is currently working under Ministry of Science and Technology Islamabad, besides developing a liaison for creating mass awareness to introduce products of research institutions in the markets,” the PCSIR Chairman said this while talking to media after the signing of the agreement.
