STAFF REPORT ISB: The Preston University, Islamabad, has won first position in the Youth Entrepreneurial Summit “YES 14” All Pakistan Business Plan Competition organized by the University of Central Punjab (UCP), Lahore.


According to details, about 40 teams from different universities of the country participated in the referenced competition.


Eminent among those universities with which the team of Preston University students comprising of Anum Javed, Talha Zaheer, Muhammad Awais, Naseem Farwa Kazmi and Ayesha Zareen competed were LUMS, Punjab University, University of Central Punjab Lahore, FAST Lahore, Muhammad Ali JInnah University, NUST, University of Gujrat, Islamia University Bahawalpur, University of Sargodha Lahore, Institute of Management Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan, Gift University Gujranwala, Punjab College of Commerce (PCC) Kharian, Hailey College of Commerce Lahore, Lahore college for Women University, FC College University Lahore, APCOMS Lahore and Punjab College of Commerce (PCC) Abdalian Campus.


Preston University was awarded the trophy of the competition by chief guest Rana Muhammad Iqbal, Speaker of the Punjab Assembly along with a cash prize of Rs. 75,000. The winning team of Preston Uiversity that was led to the competition by Prof. Humayun Shuja was profoundly congratulated by the Chancellor Preston University, Dr. Abdul Basit, on this outstanding achievement. He immensely eulogized the remarkable performance of Preston students in “YES 14” organized by UCP Lahore.
