STAFF REPORT IBD: Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) has decided to set up Science Museum at Shakarparian in Islamabad.


The science museum is aimed at promoting and bolstering research process in the field of science for the sake of socio economic development of the country.


PSF sources said that the summary has been forwarded to ministry of science and technology for seeking its final approval in connection with establishment of SM.


According to details, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) will provide a piece of land for construction of the museum.


Sources said that five science centers besides this project are also being set up in the different cities of the country for promotion of research activities in the field of science.


Chairman Pakistan Science Foundation, Dr. Manzoor Soomro, says that they are actively working on a number of initiatives to promote science and technology especially in school, colleges and universities across the country.
